Within the scope of the project, studies emphasizing gender equality have been carried out in our school. On important days in terms of gender for our country and the world, presentations, board studies and interactive tests were made to increase students’ sensitivity on this issue. In the picture you see, a presentation is made about giving women the right to vote and be elected in our country.
Disseminations from Italy
We have introduced the topic Gender Equality in Italy underlying the following points:
- the situation in Italy compared to the other European Countries
- the situation at work and in families
- the conditions of women in top decision-making position
- sexual violence
- and women’s health
As you can see in this pictures, we have introduced the topic through a power point, after the presentation we have invited the students to discuss about it. They have become aware about the situation.
